In an earlier article (see below), clinical psychologist Sam Himelstein argued persuasively that blindly teaching Mindfulness in the classroom - especially to at-risk youth - is often a recipe for disaster.
In a follow-up article, Mr. Himelstein lays out nine guidelines to help mindfulness teachers deliver practices while staying fully aware of any potential trauma hiding within the student.
