UPDATE: After the lawyer for Sivaport Nimityongskul and the Thai Meditation Center of Alabama cried foul, a federal judge allowed both parties to submit findings of fact and conclusions of law for his ruling.
Previously, the judge only allowed the City of Alabama to submit findings which, according to lead attorney John Lawyer, is the usual course of action.
However, the judge denied Lawyer's request to delay its ruling by 60 days so as to allow review by the Mayor of Mobile and Mobile City Council. So, things still look bleak for the center in its quest to relocate to a residential neighborhood.
